Batyr Babalar Memorial Museum
The Memorial Museum was built in 2016. It was opened in 2017 as part of the program of the Leader of the Nation - First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev "Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness". Batyr Babalar" museum, created in the external image of the yurt, was built in order to raise the national spirit and respect for the heroism of ancestors. The museum's exposition includes thematic sections containing history from the Saks period to the attainment of independence.

The museum was built in 2014 and opened in 2015. The area of the building is 4987 square metres. Museum departments: there are 2 thematic halls on 2 floors: 1. Handicrafts and jewellery; 2. Heroine mothers' memories.
The Suyunbai Aronula Historical and Memorial Museum
It was established in 1996 on the basis of a resolution of the Akim of Almaty Oblast to study, collect, promote and store materials relating to the life and work of the poet Suyunbai Aronula. The total area of the building is 618.68 square metres. The exhibition includes two halls about the life and work of the poet Suyunbai.
Museum of victims of political repression
Literary and Memorial Museum of Zhambyl Zhabaev
The House of Zhabaev was built in 1938, and in 1946 it was decided to establish a museum. The museum was established in 1947. The total area of the museum is 2.5 hectares. The internal area of the museum is 1200 square metres. The number of materials of museum importance is 3230. The museum consists of 12 rooms.
The building of the museum was built in 2018 in accordance with the decision of the Akim of Almaty region A. Batalov in the framework of the program of the Leader of the Nation - the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev "Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness". The total area of the building is 535 square metres. Museum departments: 1. History of repressions in Kazakhstan in 1916-1986; 2. Memories of victims of political repression; 3. Historical and educational society "Әділет" and its activities. The museum's funds continue to be replenished with materials relating to citizens who suffered political repression in the 20-50s of the twentieth century.
The Ilyas Zhansugurov Literary Museum
Museum was opened in 1984 as part of the 90th anniversary of I. Zhansugurov. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of the poet. The total area of the museum is 271 square metres. The total number of exhibits is 6407. The building of the museum, as a sample of architecture of the 19th century, has been taken under state protection.
The Abylkhan Kasteev Fine Arts Gallery
It was established in 2004 in connection with the 100th anniversary of the People's Artist Abylkhan Kasteev. The total area of the gallery is 427.0 square metres. The internal area is 1200 sq. meters. The number of materials of museum importance - 166. The gallery consists of 9 rooms. Usta Darkembay Museum of Applied Art
Total area - 3.0 ha. The internal area of the museum is 375 square metres. Number of exhibits - 2437. The museum consists of 6 exposition halls. Address: Yenbekshikazakh district, Akshi village, Darkembay prospect, building 1, Almaty region.
Almaty Regional Museum of Regional History and Local Lore
It was established on 21 February 1974 as the Taldykorgan Regional Museum of Regional History and Local Lore. On January 25, 2011 it was reorganized into State Unitary Enterprise "M. Tynyshpaev Almaty Regional Museum of Regional History and Local Lore". On 25 January 2011, it was reorganised into the M. Tynyshpaev Almaty Regional Museum of Local History, which included 19 branches of museums. The building of the museum was built in 1980. The total area of the building is 1457 square meters. The area of the exhibition halls is 1091 square metres, the stockroom 120 square metres. Number of exhibits: 24 788, the main fund - 11 683. The Fine Arts Gallery
was founded in 2003. The quantity of materials of museum value - 404. The total area makes 1011,9 sq.m, from them 10 exposition halls - 674,0 sq.m. Address: 27 A, Kabanbai Batyra Str., Taldykorgan, Almaty region.
The Taldykorgan Drama Theatre named after B. Rimova
It was opened on 4 November 1975. A group of young graduates from the Almaty State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, who graduated from the class of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan Sholpan Zhandarbekova, opened the curtain of the theatre with the play by G. Musrepov "Қозы Көрпеш - Bayan сұлу". On 31 August 2000 the theatre was named after the People's Artist of Kazakhstan, winner of the state award Biken Rimova. On 30 October 2018 the troupe moved to a new building.
